What happened to the days when music was about music…not looks?

(This post may not make sense, or have anything to do with the title, cause I type what I think, when I think it.)

Music to me is about the feeling. The feeling I get from hearing a song, seeing a band, even talking with someone about music. Its like a drug for me. It consumes my mind to the point where I cant think of anything else. That’s when I know its love, whether its with a song, CD, or band. I find it funny that I’ve felt love with music but not love with another human being. But that’s beside the point.

I think about this a lot and in all honesty, I like bands or songs because of the way it sounds before I even hear the lyrics. It takes me a few listens to really hear what they’re saying cause my first reaction is to the sound.

And about the title. My feelings about this are as follows: It pisses me off when people only listen to bands with “hot” guys in them. To me, what attracts me to the people, whether their hot or not, is their talent. And I can honestly say I’m only attracted to half the people that I am because I LOVE THEIR MUSIC. I liked the music first. Call me a fangirl or whatever. But its true. I wouldn’t sleep with someone just because they were in a band though. But the fact that they’re in a band that I enjoy makes me happy. (not like that, nasty).

I’m not really quite sure where I was going with this, but I have “Life Like This” stuck in my head and its giving me this made crazy high. I love it. Repeat baby, repeat.

Well now...

I just looked over at the printer to see a slip of paper that has my account password for my work computer. It seems a tad pointless to even have a password now…

Anyways, life update: I got all my Christmas shopping done yesterday, and had a little left over to get myself a few things. So I’m pretty happy with all of that. Now I just can’t wait until Christmas morning to see my family’s reactions!!
